Cantareira, Zona Norte is a documentary about a deep transformation in the lives of families living more than 100 years in a farm located in the the north area of São Paulo. The transformation is not desirable and happened because the construction of a ring highway that now surrounds the city, we call Rodoanel.
Sumo Brasileiro (Brazilian Sumo) is about the Japanese sport in Brazil and how the practice merged into different lives, including a Japanese descendant, a cleaning lady and a ex-champion jiujitsu fighter. The documentary talks about the sport prejudice, personal challenges and cultural barriers.
