I worked as video editor for a year at Globo, the largest commercial TV network in Latin America and the second-largest commercial TV network of the world just behind the American ABC Television Network.
My job was to be a creative video editor for the TV talk show "Conversa com Bial". I delivered more than 20 videos, including complete episodes with special guests such as José Mujica and Yuval Harari. During my time there I learned a lot about enterprise workflows, television production and media archeology.
Another part of my job was to deal with the archives, and Globo has one of the biggest Brazilian audiovisual media archives in the world. It was amazing to work with such rich and powerful content, being able to select, edit and mix with new footage that valuable content.
